Southwest Detroit Environmental Vision
The SDEV brochure presented a unique challenge. The client serves a largely Spanish-speaking population, but did not have the resources to create two separate brochures. In addition, they wanted to produce a poster that businesses could display to alert residents of their environmental advocacy. I created a gatefold brochure that, when opened one way reads in Spanish, and when opened the other way reads in English. The brochure unfolds to reveal the poster, which is essentially a mirror image of the same information in both English and Spanish (the user can choose which way to hang it). The brochure folds down to regular #10 envelope size so it can be easily mailed.
I wrote the copy, designed the graphics and layout, got quotes from printers and oversaw the production process.
